GERMAN CHEESECAKE
The first blog is dedicate to my all time favorite: cheesecake as a german version baked with curd. First I thought about writing a detailed essay about the cake, about a nice little story behind and why I’m loving it so much. BUT, usually when I am looking for new food ideas, I quickly get annoyed by an excessive bla bla upfront. SO, here are the ingredients and the preparation of this delicious cake 🙂
first DOUGH: 75g butter+75g sugar+180g flour+2 egg yolk . knead & leave it for 30 min in a fridge . place it in lighty greased round baking tin (diamter 26)
second CURD FILLING: melt 125g butter in a pan . add 500ml milk . wait to cool down . meanwhile mix together 750g quark +100g sugar+3 egg+pudding powder . add milk-butter-mixture . pour onto dough
preheat 200°C . bake it for 45 minutes . then give beaten egg white (beat the egg white & a little bit sugar until stiff )on top . bake it for another 10 minutes . enjoy
